COVID 19 UPDATE
Putting Our Community
Experience to Work
Tacoma Adventist Community Services (TACS), is a food bank specializing in serving individuals with restricted diets whose circumstances prevent them from accessing enough food for a healthy life. This includes those with diabetes, heart disease and other illnesses. TACS is considered an essential service, and is continuing to serve clients during the Covid-19 virus pandemic.
TACS is taking proactive measures to protect the health and well-being of our volunteers and neighbors as we remain committed to serving the community. All volunteers are wearing gloves, take bagged food outside to the clients, and observe social distancing between volunteers and clients.
